WAKING UP FROM THE DREAM! We
all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the
world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better.

Mission Statement
"Black Like Me," wants African-Americans to be liberally educated - liberal in "liberate". Learning
not only to read, write and speak well, but to unite in an effort to help the next generation obtain a broader
more positive vision of it's People, Culture, Heritage, their Talents and Themselves." Rev GL Dotson/Founder BLM
The Vision: To ensure people get the right idea,
we'll include a brief statement here that describes our organization. We'll tell people what we want to accomplish
and exactly how we plan to do it. "To
unite the African-American community; Socially, Spiriturally, and Economically. To Exhort, Encourage, and Empower each other through; Respect, Trust, and Love." "Without the Vision,
the People Perish. Without the People, the Vision Perish!"
